To the students of the Practical Work Operating Systems 2003 (PW OS).

Last Friday, the second exercise of the PW OS has been released. It 
can be found via the BS web-page: http://www.cs.vu.nl/~bs.

This exercise will be supervised by Swaminathan Sivasubramanian (Swami in
short). He will be present at the VU on wednesday mornings, from 10:00 to
12:00, to answer questions. To see him at any other times, please make an
appointment by email (swami @ cs.vu.nl).

It is not mandatory to submit exercise 1 before exercise 2, so you can start 
with exercise 2 at any time independent on exercise 1 (although your are 
advised to do exercise 1 first).

For any questions not specific to the exercise, contact Guido van 't
Noordende (guido @ cs.vu.nl), or Matty Huntjes (matty @ cs.vu.nl).
